The James Halliday Australian Wine Companion

Mornington Peninsula Pinot Gris 2006

A clean wine with pear flesh, candied fruits, and quite generous mouthfeel; vibrant and clean on the finish; very good value. Screwcap
13% Alc, Rating 90 Drink 2009 Date Tasted Feb 08

Mornington Peninsula Shiraz 2006

Very stemmy style, with cool spicy red fruits; very savoury and drying tannins, but the fruit is fine and complex, and once again good value for the money. Screwcap.
14.5% Alc, Rating 90 Drink 2014 Date Tasted Feb 08
